Sports Tourism Association organized its first event, the cocktail, at Istanbul Ramada Encore by Wyndham Hotel. Association President Şengül Yıldız, Association Board members, European and Turkish Muaythai Federation President Hasan Yıldız and sports managers from Kazakhstan, Hungary, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Uzbekistan attended the event. Various hotel managers and tourism business people also took part in the cocktail.

During the cocktail, information was given about the rising trends of sports tourism in Turkey and the world and future projects. Association President Şengül Yıldız drew attention to the importance of sports tourism at the event and shared details about future projects.

During the event, the 1st Muaythai Turkish World Championship was also followed on-site. Şengül Yıldız thanked everyone who contributed to the organization and wished success to all athletes.
